September 18 evening at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of ZNU held an online meeting of supervisory groups with the therapist Bruce Young (California, USA) and psychologists and volunteers of Zaporizhzhya. The event was made possible through the active cooperation of the NGO "Development Foundation" and staff Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology, including the Department of Applied Psychology. Coordinator of the event "Psychological Techniques for Working with Trauma for Military" was Olga Ishchuk.
At the 2nd academic building situated the main basis of ZNU Scientific Library. Its users are not only students and teachers of the University, as well as teachers and students of Zaporizhzhya schools, ordinary residents of the city who enjoy spending free time with books and meet with authors and works of modern science and technology innovations. Every year into cohort of library readers joins a considerable number of first-year beginners. For them, thanks to the friendly staff librarians, open great opportunities to explore with the latest scientific literature and works of Ukrainian and foreign scientists.
Last week at the Faculty of Law held a round table on "Criminal legal description of the offenses under Articles 111 and 114 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: the results of scientific research" with Oksana Uzunova, Ph.D. in Law, Associate Professor of Criminal Law and Justice Department and 3rd years students of the Faculty.
Active civil position Rector of Zaporizhzhya National University Mykola Frolov again received recognition at the regional level. On September 18 at Zaporizhzhya National University at the Department of Pre-university training, career guidance and employment was launched a new PR-team university, whose main objective - the integration of students in the university environment, creation of information events, as well as a fashion positioning and presentation of the university in Zaporizhzhya region and Ukraine.
On September 18 students of the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of Zaporizhzhya National University organized a charity event to raise funds for the purchase of warm blankets for children with special needs who attend group day care of Zaporizhzhya Regional public organization "Florence".
On September 15 at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was held a workshop on Internationalization of Ukrainian Higher Education. Organizers of the event were National Education of Ukraine and Erasmus + office in Ukraine. The workshop was attended by representatives of 44 leading universities from all regions of Ukraine. Our university was represented by Vice-Rector, Professor Gennadiy Vasylchuk.
