Recently, the number of new specialties, approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, has increased in ZNU. Among them is the specialty "Information, Library and Archival Affairs". Specialists in the program "Information affairs in business, politics and public administration" will be trained at the Faculty of Journalism.

Recently, the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works on natural, technical and humanitarian sciences in the field of knowledge "Ecology", which was attended by over 120 participants from 65 universities in Ukraine, including Zaporizhzhia National University has been held on the basis of Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University.

On April 8, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Klympush-Tsintsadze Ivanna visited Zaporizhzhia National University. The guest met with rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov and with vice-rector for scientific work Hennadii Vasylchuk. Representatives of the university administration discussed with an honorary guest issues of integration of ZNU into the European educational space, including the participation of professors and students of ZNU in international grant programs, as well as prospects for the further development of its international activities. In addition, the Vice Prime Minister met with students and professors of the Faculty of Sociology and Administrating, Management, History, Law, and with the representatives of the College of Economics and Law.

The founding forum of the newly established Alumni Association was held on the Faculty of Journalism of Zaporizhzhia National University. During the event, graduates of different years gathered together, among them were well-known journalists, professors, students, as well as mass media specialists, who fruitfully cooperate with ZNU.

There are many beautiful places for a photo session for every taste in the campus of Zaporizhzhia National University. However, another one will appear very soon; it will take place between Academic building 2 and 6, in the favorite gathering place of students.

On March 29, within the framework of cooperation between the cities of Zaporizhzhia, Magdeburg and Oberhausen in the field of energy efficiency, a delegation of representatives of the organization “Municipal partnership of cities of Ukraine and Germany” and Zaporizhzhia city council visited ZNU. There was organized a tour of the introduction to the system of energy efficiency and energy-saving technologies in the university.

Weightlifting championship of Ukraine among the juniors under-20 took place in Kolomyia. Athletes of Zaporizhzhia won a full set of medals, among which were representatives of ZNU.

On March 30, the first graduation of the listeners of the courses “Psychological and pedagogical support of children and young people with special needs in an inclusive educational environment” took place, which were organized on the basis of the postgraduate education center of Zaporizhzhia National University. Certificates of professional development of pedagogical workers were awarded by the program manager Yevhenii Klopotа, doctor of psychological sciences, professor of the Department of pedagogy and psychology of educational activities, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine.

On March 28, the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the specialty "Metallurgy" was held. The competition took place at the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (Dnipro city), where students of the Metal Forming Department of the Faculty of Metallurgy of Engineering Institute presented a work on the topic “Calculation of forming rolls for strength and deformation in the AutoCAD Mechanical software”.
