ZNU visited by Professors Otto and Florence Dreger
The eleventh of October at the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology was held a meeting of teachers and students with the Canadian Professors Otto and Florence Dreger. This year the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology celebrates 25 years, and active collaboration with Canadian partners has been continuing almost all of this period. The session was chaired by the Dean of the Faculty Olga Ponomarenko, who along with the representatives of the Department of Social Pedagogy, summed up a longstanding Canadian-Ukrainian cooperation.

April 26 at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of ZNU was a regular public lecture of PhD Andrew Heddert (PhD, Clinical Psychology, USA), which was devoted to practical methods of psychological assistance to the family. Participating in the event were senior students of specialty "Practical Psychology" and teachers of the faculty.
During the work visit to ZNU representatives of Tartu University Narva College (Estonia) visited Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology. Scientists discussed with teachers of ZNU topics such as the history of the profession of social pedagogue and specificity of socio-pedagogical work in Ukraine and Estonia, and identified possible ways of cooperation. In addition, special guests of the faculty visiting the stage prepared by students of the Faculty of SPP.
Tomorrow, on 29th of December, in Zaporizhzhya National University held a concert for all employees of the university. With the support of the Rectorate, University administration and its Primary Trade Union Organization prepared future actors of the Faculty of Social Pedagogy and Psychology and their teachers and members of the Educational Theatre of ZNU.
At the faculty of social pedagogics and psychology of Zaporizhzhya National University meets regularly «English speaking club». The meetings are held under the constant guidance of Associate Professor of Pedagogics and Psychology Department Natalia Mosol educational activities. On December 25 its meeting invited volunteer David Mckitryk. During a meeting with its club members discussed the traditions, the culture and mentality of different peoples.
On December 8 at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of ZNU the presentation of the strategy of implementation of gender equality and non-discrimination in the field "Education: the gender dimension - 2020", which soon plans to introduce in Ukraine under the implementation of gender policy.
On December 6 at ZNU held traditional stage of All-Ukrainian Junior Academy of Sciences. Took part in it about 600 high school students - pupils of 9-11 forms of secondary schools. Zaporizhzhya region (Polohy, Guliaipole, Tokmak, Kushuhum, Novokaterynivka etc.). Contestants written tests in different fields regional stage of the competition JAS - protecting scientific works, scheduled to take place in February 2016.
