At Zaporizhzhya National University peculiarities of preparation of senior pupils for testing in Biology and Chemistry have been considered

Unlike External Independent Testing (EIT) in the Ukrainian language and Literature, testing in Biology and Chemistry is not obligatory. At the same time the corresponding certificate is necessary for entrance to a number of prestigious directions of preparation. But there are not a lot of schools specialized in natural sciences in our country. So there is a task before teachers to prepare senior pupils for passing corresponding tests qualitatively in a short. For this reason teachers of Zaporizhzhya and regional schools have gathered in ZNU where the scientific and methodical seminar, devoted to the decision of the problems connected with carrying out EIT in Biology and Chemistry passed.

During this week matches in mini football for “The Rector’s cup” are going in ZNU sports centre. 12 teams of different departments (two of them are the teams of the Physical training Department) take part in the contest. Names and candles - for eternal memory of victims of the Famine

On November, 22 students and lecturers ZNU took part in two All-Ukrainian actions – “33 minutes” and “Light a candle” - to honour the memory of victims of the famine of 1932-33.
