15 studnents of Biological Department participated in the contest of student scientific papers "The Best Chemistry Connoisseur". 
Yesterday the Candidate to the President of Ukraine, ex-Chair of National Bank of Ukraine, Candidate of Economical Science, famous financier Sergiy Tigipko visited the University. He had a meeting with students as a speaker of Political Science Club of Department of Sociology and Administration.
Within the Law Department’s 18th anniversary celebration the results of the students’ scientific papers contest devoted to the customary law of Zaporizhzhya Sich were announced. 
On December 8th the students of the Journalism Department had the meeting with the laureates of the Literary Contest «Word Crowning» Andriy Kokotyukha, Mila Ivantsova and Marianna Malyna in the Scientific Library of ZNU.
Yesterday thirteen best girls-representatives of ZNU departments demonstrated their talents at the contest "Miss ZNU - 2010". Outstanding presenters, great choreography, extravagancy and talent of each participant made the contest as a real festival!
Last week ZNU hosted selection rounds of annual freshmen contest "Let Us Introduce Ourselves", which was presented in the form of musical "Students' Pie".
“For Zaporizhzhya region the cooperation with machinery building industry is very perspective”, - said Alla Cherep, Acting Dean of Economic Department. The cooperation should be done within the cluster – joining the efforts of business, scientific establishments, and authorities. This was the topic of 4th of December round table discussion.
