Annual meeting with future ZNU applicants took place on October 18th in the University. More than a thousand future students and their parents came to the meeting.
Students of the Journalism Department participated in international UN action “Stand Up and Take Action”. It was devoted to the International Day of Fight against Poverty, October 16th.
For the first time International Scientific and Practical Conference Transformational Processes in Economics of State and Regions, which is annual and forth in a row, was held in ZNU, and protected by Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Presentation of the educational exchange programs administrated by IREX was done by IREX programs coordinator Iryna Miroshnichenko in ZNU, October 14th. She introduced to the undergraduate students UGRAD program, and graduate program Muskie.
Free testing in German language for DAAD certificate occurred on October 8th in ZNU. The on-line testing was a part of European Education Quality Week activities in ZNU. Over 100 students from different University departments and from other schools came to take the test.
Zhovtnevyi district meeting-requiem devoted to the 66th anniversary of the Zaporizhzhya release from fascists’ occupation took place near the Memorial of the tank equipage USSR Hero M.M.Yatsenko on October 13th.
October 12th near Zaporizhzhya City Council there was the opening of the annual city youth action “Let's Save Native City”. The action was organized by the Committee of Family and Youth of Zaporizhzhya City Council in coordination with activists of Zaporizhzhya National University headed by Inna Derevinska
Interregional municipal readings “Constitutional foundations of the local authority organization” took place on October 9th in Dnipropetrovs’k. Around 1100 people from Dnipropetrovs’k, Zaporizhzhya and Crimean regions participated, among which there were the ZNU teachers of departments of Law and Sociology and Administrating.
ZNU took an active part in organizing Zaporizhzhya City Day, which was being celebrated on October 10th. Students were dancing, joking, and singing at the Fair.
