On November 9th the Ambassador of Finland in Ukraine Christer Michelsson visited ZNU. He met the university administration and gave the lecture to the students entitled Political and Economical Cooperation between Finland, EU and Ukraine.
On November 8th within the celebration of the Week of the Department of Physical Education the 1,5-hours "Fitness Marathon" was held. Around 200 students and teachers of ZNU and other universities were doing fitness exercises simultaneously. The participants had the possibility to take master classes in basic aerobics, funk (or hip-hop), zumba, relax-stretching.
The master-classes The Optimization of the Personnel Management System for the top management staff of the Administration of the State Department of Penitentiary of Ukraine have started in the Center of the Business Education of ZNU. The classes will last till December 4th, two days per week, 18 hours total. 
Supported by the Cambridge University Press publishing house the lecturer of the East Europe counties lecturer Jim Callahas gave a practical seminar entitled as Interactive Methods of Teaching English Language aimed to the teachers of the secondary schools and universities. 
The annual meeting of the postgraduate students with the university's faculty occurred on November 3rd. The meeting was devoted to the handing of the certificates to the graduates and discussing the issues regarding the candidate and doctoral dissertations preparation. 54 new post-grad students and three doctorate students will start their studies from November 3rd. 
Within the celebrating of the Law department Week more that 30 interesting events were planned among which are the social and charity projects and actions, excursion to the Khortitsa Island for the kids from orphanages No. 1 and 3, soccer championship, brain ring in Criminal and Civil Law, round table in patriotic education, and the scientific and practical conference in Administrative Law. All the events will be being held during this week. 
The English Language teacher, the author of the special teaching methodology Thomas Tasker (Pennsylvania University, USA), the US Department of State academic program fellow held two seminars Developing the Grammar Skills by Authentic Speaking Practice and Alternative Grading: Developing the Skills of Critical Reading and Speaking for the English teachers of the Foreign Languages Department of ZNU on October 28-29th.
