20 December at the Faculty of Economics of ZNU held a meeting of dean of the Faculty of Economics Alla Cherep with spokesperson of the University of Finance and Management in Warsaw (Poland), Mr Rafal Wozniak. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss opportunities for further collaboration between scientists of our university - namely, training, participation in joint research projects, conferences, receive double degree diplomas and prospects for Ukrainian students education in Poland.

20 December at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Zaporizhzhya National University launched Conference "Christmas reading". This scientific event is held on the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the fifth time.
At the Faculty of Physics of Zaporizhzhya National University held a final of the intellectual game "What? Where? When?". The competition was held in two stages: first - selection round - lasted from 9 to 13 December, the final stage was held on December 19.
December 19 in honor of St. Nicholas Day, Students' Council of Economics Faculty of ZNU organized for students an unusual unbeaten lottery in the form of bowling.
December 19, on the Day of St. Nicholas in Zaporizhzhya National University was solemnly opened the Christmas tree. The event was organized by representatives of the Department of Educational Work, the Center of Cultural Work and Administrative Department with the support of the administration of our university. They took care to turn the discovery into a real unforgettable show, which would provide Christmas mood for teachers and students of ZNU for all the winter holidays.
Yesterday at Zaporizhzhya National University held a regional tour of the International Competition named after Petro Yatsyk. After evaluation of competitive works, the jury selected the winners.
December 19 at the Philological Faculty held an opening ceremony of the International Competition of experts of Ukrainian named after Petro Yatsyk. Overall, the event was attended by 10 students from Zaporizhzhya and region.
December 13 specialized Scientific Council of the Odessa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov, with unanimous decision awarded the degree of doctor of philological sciences, specialty 10.02.04 "Germanic languages" Professor of the Department of Translation Theory and Practice Rusudan Mahachashvili.
