Zaporizhzhya National University is always happy to welcome writers, poets and creative people who want to share with the students their heritage and creative advice. On 8th of December remember the arrival in our university of Zaporizhzhya poet and translator Oleksandr Medka. The poet made a presentation of his collection of poems, published in 2014, "Khora" .
Collection of "Proceedings of the Historical Faculty of Zaporizhzhya national university" has gained respectable international status. After passing an independent examination, publication included in the framework of international Scientometrics «Index Copernicus» (Poland). This database is currently the authoritative tool that allows you to assess the quality and impact of scientific publications. At the end of 2015 «Index Copernicus» includes over 13,000 journals. It is noteworthy that 11 Ukrainian periodicals of historical sciences indexed in the database, Zaporizhzhya magazine took the 3rd place by rating (ICV 2014 - 54.5 - 
On December 7 at the Law Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University held a presentation issued to cooperation with representatives of the Publishing House "In Jure" directory "Administrative and legal education of the XX century in personalities". The event director of the publishing house visited Victoria Svyatotska, Vice-Rector of ZNU, Professor Oleksandr Bondar, Dean, Professor Tetiana Kolomoiets, director of the Scientific Library of ZNU Valentyna Gerasymova, Law Faculty students and media representatives of Zaporizhzhya.
On December 7 in the Scientific Library of Zaporizhzhya National University made a presentation of a new book from Lugansk writer who now lives in Kiev, Marharyta Surzhenko. During the meeting participants - teachers and students of the Faculty of Philology and Faculty of Journalism - learned how Mrs. Marharyta begin writing career, as well as her credo as a writer and creative plans.
On December 6 at ZNU held traditional stage of All-Ukrainian Junior Academy of Sciences. Took part in it about 600 high school students - pupils of 9-11 forms of secondary schools. Zaporizhzhya region (Polohy, Guliaipole, Tokmak, Kushuhum, Novokaterynivka etc.). Contestants written tests in different fields regional stage of the competition JAS - protecting scientific works, scheduled to take place in February 2016.
On December 7 in the hall of the National Police Directorate in Zaporizhzhya region held activities for the International Volunteer Day. Participation in them were teachers and students of the Faculty of Economics of Zaporizhzhya National University.

On December 4 teachers of the Department of Pedagogics and Psychology, Associate Professors Victoria Ovsyannikova and Larysa Ivanova organized a roundtable with students of the Faculty of Physical Education on Psychology and Sport. The round table was attended by students of specialties "Physical Education", "Olympic and Professional Sport", "Physical Rehabilitation" and "Tourism".
During the semester at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology of Zaporizhzhya National University held a meeting with volunteer David McKitryk in the format of «English speaking club». During this time Students of the Faculty of SPP took part in the discussion of various issues. They discussed the features of education system in Ukraine and the United States on volunteering and charitable projects. They also determined the examples of professionals in the field of social community, explored the question of professional self-determination and a career, finding their own path and ourselves.
