Meeting of students and employees with the Ukrainian economist and politician, People's deputy of Ukraine, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship, President of the Ukrainian Association for the Club of Rome, and Honorable President of the Ukrainian Association for Innovation Development (UAID) Viktor Hlasiuk was held in the Engineering Institute of Zaporizhzhia National University on March 15.

The results of free trial trainings on EIT in the Ukrainian language and literature, the history of Ukraine, English, French, German, mathematics, chemistry, biology and physics were announced in Zaporizhzhia National University. Students of the Faculty of Economics and the Engineering Institute of Zaporizhzhia National University encountered on March 14, 2019 in order to participate in the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad on the specialty "Banking". Andrii Lynenko, associate professor of the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance of the Faculty of Economics, was responsible for conducting this stage of the Olympiad. Viktoriia Fatiukha, associate professor of the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance from Engineering Institute also joined the event.

Last month, in the city of Antalya (Turkey), the Para Taekwondo World Championship was held. The third-year student of the specialty “Software Engineering” of the College of Economics and Law Anton Lipovyi performed as part of the junior national team of Ukraine. He played in the K-42 class, where he won the athletes of the Uruguay national team, but in the semifinals he lost to the representative of the national team of Kazakhstan.

On March 14, Zaporizhzhia National University welcomed 35 postgraduates who joined the ranks of scholars of our university as part of the first stage of the admission campaign 2019.

Engineering Institute of Zaporizhzhia National University invites high school students and their parents to attend the Open Day on April 6, at 11am within the framework of the project "Day of Engineering Education".

The Chairman of the Certification Commission on the issues of for the professional certification of persons who intend to carry out activities for the certification of energy efficiency which operates on the basis of ZNU, Serhii Ilin, secretary Oksana Sharaieva and member of the commission Andrii Cheilytko successfully passed qualification certification in the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine.

Recently, a meeting of the Regional Development Council of Zaporizhzhia region has been held in the exhibition complex "Kozak-Palace". The event was attended by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, head of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Kostiantyn Bryl, chairman of the regional council Hryhorii Samardak, and mayor of the city Volodymyr Buriak. The Engineering Institute of Zaporizhzhia National University was represented by the Chairman of the Certification Commission for the professional certification of persons who intend to carry out activities for the certification of energy efficiency Serhii Ilin.

Recently, the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad "Metallurgy of ferrous metals" of the specialty 136 "Metallurgy" has been held at the Department of Metallurgy of the Engineering Institute of Zaporizhzhia National University.
