Zaporizhzhia Military Hospital was visited by representatives of St. John Paul II Zaporizhzhia Society of Polish Culture, John III Sobieski Polish Culture Center of the Engineering Institute of Zaporizhzhia National University and the parish of God Father Merciful of Church of Rome.

 This week, the German Language Center at ZNU, which is the official accredited partner of the German Cultural Center “Goethe-Institut in Ukraine”, was visited by Anhela Noke and Olaf Bollbrinker, the heads of the language departments of the Goethe-Institut in other countries. The purpose of their visit was to conduct an audit for compliance with the standards of teaching German in the Zaporizhzhia center. This is a standard procedure that every unit of the Goethe-Institut have to undergo every three years.

A few days ago, the defense of competitive projects by graduate students of ZNU who have just completed the “European Project Culture” training course (Jean Monnet's project on European Union's ERASMUS + program) was held in Zaporizhzhia National University for the second time. 14 project groups presented interesting and useful ideas to the competent jury. Team of the jury consisted of EUROPROC project coordinator in ZNU, Viktoriia Meniailo, as well as vice-rector for scientific, pedagogical and educational work Oleksandr Hura, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, Yurii Kahanov, and associate professor of the Department of Forest biology, Hunting and Ichthyology Volodymyr Sarabieiev.

The volleyball team «Orbita-ZNU» got an honorable second place in the final match of the Ukrainian Cup. Semi-final matches were held on February 22. Zaporizhzhia «Orbita-ZNU» and «Halychanka-TNEU-HADZ» from Ternopil met in the first semi-final according to the results of the draw.

On February 24, free trial EIT in the Ukrainian language and literature, and in the Foreign Language (English, German, French) took place in Zaporizhzhia National University. About 2,500 applicants visited the university on this day. 1,689 people had the opportunity to check the level of their knowledge in the Ukrainian language and literature and get acquainted with the peculiarities of the procedure of the EIT. 709 applicants came to the training in English, 18 in German, and 4 in French.

Recently, the representatives of Zaporizhzhia National University have conducted the EIT trial trainings in the History of Ukraine and the Ukrainian language and literature for applicants in Berdiansk; the results of them are already announced. You can get acquainted with them by the link below:

It should be noted that the photo contest is held from November 2018 to March 2019 in five stages owing to the initiative of the vice-rector for scientific, pedagogical and educational work of Oleksandr Hura and the support of the Department of Pre-university training, Career guidance and Employment of ZNU. Representatives of the Department expressed gratitude for the support of the project to rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov, vice-rector Serhii Kushnir, director of the Center of Culture Yuliia Yanko and others.

On February 19, a new multimedia audience opened at the Faculty of Foreign Philology (2 academic building, audience 326) as part of the grant project “European Values in Literary Arts”.

Recently, representatives of the Department of Romance Philology and Translation have organized a videoconference with the University of Du Maine (France), which has been fruitfully cooperating with Zaporizhzhia National University for many years.

Recently, a team of Zaporizhzhia National University has made a week-long working visit to the UK, where participated in a conference of a three-year project on the Erasmus+ KA2 DESTIN program at the Bath Spa University.
