April 9-10 at the Philological Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University as part of the conference "Young Science-2013" held meetings three scientific sections: "Modern Problems of Literature," "Modern Problems of Linguistics" and "Actual problems of teaching philological disciplines".
April 9th as part of VI University Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Young Science 2013" was a meeting of the scientific section "Actual problems of teaching philological disciplines."
April 3 on the basis of the Faculty of Philology of Zaporizhzhya National University hosted an event dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the Ukrainian leader Honchar.
29 - 31 March at the base of the collegium № 98 Zaporozhye Zaporizhia region championships took place in rapid chess among schoolchildren and students. Zaporizhzhya National University was represented by two member states which took prizes.
March 28 to Zaporizhzhya National University visited Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine Mr. Henryk Litwin and Consul General of Poland in Kharkiv Jan Granat pan.From 19 to 22 of April took place the second phase of the Ukrainian student's competition on Russian language and literature in national university named after Ivan Ogiyenko in Kamyanets-Podilsk. 38 students took part in it and 29 amog them from the higher educational institutions of Ukraine. Our university was presented by Anna Babanina – the 5th year student of philological faculty (specialty "Russian and Literature"). Anna was marked out by the Diploma of the II degree by the results of competition.
On 25th of March participants of the III Ukrainian round of competition on Ukrainian and literature visited ZNU. Participants had the excursion in the campus and in the museums of ZNU.
On 21 of March, the whole world celebrates Day of poetry. The philological faculty of ZNU organized creative event. Days of poetry in our higher education institution traditionally spent with support of The Student’s and Graduate student’s Scientific Society of philological faculty.
March 15 sophomore Philology Zaporizhzhya National Shevchenko University performed traditional readings dedicated to the 199 anniversary of the birth of the Ukrainian poet, writer, artist and public figure of Taras Shevchenko.
"Spark large fire" - the name had a literary and musical composition, dedicated members of the Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University and 199 birth anniversary of Taras Shevchenko. This time, the participants decided to draw the audience's attention not only to the poet's biography and his outstanding work, but also to the effects of multi-faceted genius Shevchenko Ukrainian artists of the nineteenth and twenty-first centuries.
