On December 2 at the Junior Academy of Business Management of Kommunarskyi regional center of youth and students held th 5th city contest in information technology. The organizers of the contest were the Faculty of Economics of ZNU and Komunarskiy regional center of youth and students. The contest was attended by teams of pupils groups in informatics and programming school educational establishments of Zaporizhzhya (Zaporizhzhya City Botanical Garden, KRTSMSH MAUB, SYUT). Total 27 participants competed in three nominations: «Junior», «Office» and «Web-design».
During the week, an American expert in international media and cross-cultural communication Mark Dillen (San Francisco) was in Zaporizhzhya National University, where he gave lectures and held four Conversation Clubs for students of the Faculty of Journalism and met with the Rector of ZNU, Professor Mykola Frolov. To the university Mr Dillen came within the framework of the Fulbright international exchange program, and organizer of the visit was the Dean of the Faculty of Journalism, Professor Volodymyr Manakin, a few years ago by the same program was in the United States.
By the World Day of Science the 30 of November in 2015 in the conference room "Congress" hotel "Bratislava" in Kiev held a major international forum "Ukraine Scientists and teaching staff in the name of the cofirm world, stability and development of society."
December 3rd on the initiative of a senior lecturer in the Department of Journalism of the Faculty of Journalism Yurii Botner in ZNU held the meeting with students of the Faculty with journalists by Zaporizhzhya, who have visited the area of ATO Mykola Mykhailov and Oleksandr Medko.
December 2nd creative team of students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages took part in a charity concert meeting dedicated to the International Day of Disabled Persons, held in Khortickiy National Education and Rehabilitation Academy. The students presented the audience a song “La Seine” in performance Alisa Kryvosheieva and choreographic composition "Hug me" presented by Marharyta Zubchevska, Olha Katrusha, Karyna Kozachenko, Anastasiia Osypenko.
December 2nd in College of Economics and Law held selection stage of the tournament competitions for young lawyers within the framework of scientific December readings. Competed for a place in the final nine teams, including 8 – the second year students of specialities "Law", "Organization of Production", "Publishing and Editing", "Software Development", "Accounting", "Social Work", "Finance and Credit" and the team of the 1st year student of speciality "Law".
One of the important questions of the Academic Council of the University which was held on 1st of December became the discussion and adoption of new Admission Regulations to ZNU in 2016. A report about the peculiarities of Entrance Campaign in 2016 and innovations in the Admission Regulations acted Executive Secretary of Admission Committee of ZNU Damir Bikulov.
Yesterday, on 30 November, the 3rd and 4th year students of specialty "Publishing and Editing" of Economics and Law College of ZNU visited Kostyantyn Aleseyenko, Zaporizhzhya known journalist, Head of Internet portal zabor.zp.ua. During the meeting with the youth of our university, he gave a lecture on "History of Zaporizhzhya advertising". The event was held as part of the study course "Advertising Publications and Training".
