On December 2, the first round (writing tests) of the second (regional) stage of the All-Ukrainian competition-protection of research works of students - members of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine took place on the basis of Zaporizhzhia National University. About 500 students of 9–grades of secondary education institutions in the city of Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia region took part in writing examinations. According to the results of this stage of intellectual competitions, the best participants will receive the right to defend their scientific work at meetings of the MAS sections, which will be held in ZNU soon, on February 17.

Representatives of ZNU took part in the solemn raising of the flag of the Naval Forces of Ukraine
On November 29 in Zaporizhzhia on the Square of Heroes, near Zaporizhzhia regional state administration held a large-scale patriotic event. As a sign of support for the defenders of our maritime borders and the sailors who are in captivity of the Russian Federation, a solemn rising of the flag of the Naval Forces of Ukraine took place. The event was attended by high-ranking officials of the region, the military, and representatives of public organizations, higher educational institutions and all concerned patriots of the city. The representatives of Zaporizhzhia National University did not remain aloof from this important event. The event was joined by professors and students of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Foreign Philology, employees of the educational work department and other representatives of the university.

"Orbita-ZNU" enters the European arena
In the second half of November, "Orbita-ZNU" won two victories away in the 6th round among the women's teams of the Super League. In the first match against “Halychanka” ZNU sportswomen noticeably outnumbered their opponents in almost all components of the game. The owners of the platform tried to create intrigue only in third sets. However, “Orbita” managed to win. According to the results of these games, our girls kept the second place in the table. But "Halychanka" moved away from the top three for a distance of up to five wins. The next matches "Orbita" will hold at home, against the Chernyhov team "University- SHS" on November 30 and December 1.

ZNU students are laureates of the International Festival-Art Contest "Kiev Art Fest"
On November 24-25, the International Festival-Art Contest "Kiev Art Fest" was held in Kiev. Among the contestants were not only representatives from all over Ukraine, but also from Belarus and China. During the festival, the participants presented about 200 choreographic, vocal and circus performances. Students of ZNU during the competition worthily presented the university at the All-Ukrainian level.

Recently, the lecture “Euroreality” was organized by the student council within the framework of the traditional Lecture of ZNU. The lecturers were graduates and trainers of the Euro school, university student as a 1st year graduate student of the Faculty of Foreign Philology, Myloslava Fedko, and a 4th year undergraduate of the Faculty of Sociology and Management in the specialty Political Science Anton Lytvynenko.
