There were several important questions under discussion at the council of rectors which took place at Zaporizhzhya National Technical University. One of them was introduction of credit-module system of education and the necessity to define the place of each higher educational establishment in Bologna process.

”Student aerobics ball – 2005” dedicated to the Day of our city took place on October 12 at sport palace “Yunost’”. Teams of higher educational establishments from Zaporizhzhya, Donets’k, Kharkiv, Berdians’k and Melitopol competed there.

The president of Ukraine Viktor Yuschenko took part in opening ceremony of renewed and rebuilt historical and archeological monument – notable museum-preserve “Kamjana Mogyla”. Head of Zaporizhzhya regional state administration Yuri Artemenko, head of regional council Vladimir Berezovsky and other official figures together with rector of Zaporizhzhya National University Sergij Tymchenko also visited this unique place.
