On May 16th at the Faculty of Biology of Zaporizhzhya National University in cooperation with the municipal institution “Zaporizhzhya Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education” ZSR there were conducted the master classes for the teachers of Zaporizhzhya region.

On May 15th the students of the Faculty of Journalism as the part of the International Family Day celebration visited the kids of the municipal institution “Zaporizhzhya Regional Center of Social and Psychological Rehabilitation for Children”.

On May 15th the reporting and election meeting of Zaporizhzhya League of LAU Students cell was held at the Faculty of Law of Zaporizhzhya National University.

According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine № 145/97 from February 14, 1997 in our state for the past 16 years the third Saturday of May is celebrated as the Day of Science. Great attention is paid to this festival at Zaporizhzhya National University, because this is an occasion not only to summarize scientific work over the last year but also to mark those teachers and staff of our university who have made the greatest efforts to the establishment and development of scientific schools, conveying experience to the young scientists.

On May 13th the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Zaporizhzhya National University conducted the event, dedicated to the Mother's Day. 

From 5 to 12 May in Lithuania (Druskininkai city) hosted the European Championship on armsport. 

On the eve of the May holidays the Centre "English for Kids" of Zaporizhzhya National University summarized the results of this academic year. On 29 and April 30 there were conducted open sessions with the alumni of the center, which were also attended by their parents.
