On May 31 in Zaporizhzhya National University within the seminar "EU Politics in Informational Space of Ukraine" there was the meeting of the Ukrainian journalists and journalism students with the Head of the Ukrainian Branch of Conrad Adenauer Fund Niko Lange. Dr. Valeriy Ivanov and Lyudmyla Gumenyuk joined Mr. Lange during the seminar.
The seminar started on May 30 is supported by the Conrad Adenauer Fund and the academy of Ukrainian Press. During two days the Director of the Media Reforms Center Lyudmyla Gumenyuk, the President of the Academy of Ukrainian Press, Dr. of Philological Sci., Prof. of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University Valeriy Ivanov, Conrad Adenauer Fund Assistant Anna Rozhnyatovska, and the Branch Head of the Conrad Adenauer Fund in Ukraine Niko Langehave been meeting with journalists and students.
On May 31 the seminar was started with L. Gumenyuk's and V. Ivanov's report about the system of the European standards in the media sphere in Ukraine, about the media law aspects and the process of liberalization of the state and communal media.
The seminar participants had discussions about the communication and social advertiising aspects in Ukraine. Dr. Ivanov
said there is a positive shift in the social advertising sphere in Ukraine, but as time goes by this material disappears.
In the second seminar part Mr. Niko Lange presented the information about how the news from EU is being biased by the Ukrainian press.
As a seminar result all its participants have got the certificates.
