On January, 31 the first 2012 session of Academic Board was carried out. On the agenda: research attainments and prospects of ZNU, personnel reserve, computer and information availability for learning objectives, state of academic and research activities at the Faculty of Philology.
Report of professor Victor Gryshchak, vice rector for research was dedicated to key achievements made by scientific and teaching staff in the area of research, as well as problems arising en route, the ways to resolve these issues and the following enhancement of research activity. Volodymyr Volkov, vice rector for educational research reported on personnel reserve among ZNU top management and faculties. The head of IT Centre Volodymyr Davydovskyi gave report on 2012 Admission Campaign Specifics: Ministry reform related to data input and treatment is underway which will take a lot of efforts from IT staff. In their turn, ZNU staff whose activities are closely related to University computerisation can become a part of this reform which will have a positive effect to ZNU image. Acting rector Olexander Bondar has charged the chairman of the recently formed Board on Informatisation and Computerisation Victor Gryshchak with developing plan for short-time activity of the Board which includes suggestions on inclusive education, designed for persons with special needs. Tamara Khomiak, dean for the Faculty of Philology delivered her report on state of study process at the faculty. In particular, the report revealed issues of international activity, research and staff ensuring studies. In addition, achievement certificates were presented by the Ministry of education and science, youth and sports of Ukraine, Municipal Council of Zaporizhzhya and Department for research and education along with acknowledgement by ZNU Rector. Victor Gryshchak was honoured with Yuri Taran-Zhovnir medal of Higher School Academy of Sciences.
