February, 15 Professor V. Girzhon, head of the Department of Physics of Metals and Associate Professor Olexander Yanovsky, head of the Department of Semiconductors have visited Chernigivka village aiming at inviting school graduates to enter the Faculty of Physics, ZNU
The meeting was carried out in the hall of high school ‘Nadiya’ (‘Hope’) for the graduates from the local schools and nearby villages. ZNU educators have spoken of admission requirements, peculiarities and specifics of studying at the Faculty of Physics, given out bulletins and answered to the students and teachers’ questions. The event has been undertaken due to the support of Educational Department of Chernigivka District State Administration.
Another group of professor comprising V. Mishchenko, head of the Department of Applied Physics and associate professors A. Nedolya and V. Sniznhy have visited Yakimivka district where they met with high school graduates of Yakymivka, Kyrylivka and Volodymyrivka villages. All in all 4 schools have been visited, where the educators met with 96 school students attentively listening to the information about the Faculty of Physics, specialities, qualifications conferred to the university graduates. Seven of the school students showed their willingness to pursue their studies at the Faculty of Physics in ZNU.

Tkachenko, technical engineer have met with the graduates of Zaporizhzhya multidisciplinary lyceum 'Perspectyva' (‘Prospect’)
Representatives of the Faculty of Physics have introduced the school students to ZNU admission requirements 2012 and information relating to free trial evaluation which is to be held in ZNU soon. Moreover, presentation of the faculty’s departments was given. Having answered the questions of the school students the agreement was reached to give a tour around laboratories and departments of the Faculty of Physics.
