Students of Journalism have met with the chief editor of ‘Comments’ Weekly Vadym Denysenko. Suggested by the guest ‘question-answer’ meeting framework allowed future journalists to get more information on ins and outs of the popular edition and see the standpoint of Vadym Denysenko on the future for the national printed media. The authors of the best questions were presented with the 'Comments' subscription.

In the beginning of the meeting Vadym Denysenko shared his personal view on the inevitable triumph of the Internet over printed media. Chief editor provided the data proving that nowadays a person spends 5 to 10 minutes on the average to review the press, though this fact does not necessarily mean that professional journalism will be substituted with the unprofessional one.
The questions put forward by the students touched upon the edition’s editorial policy, its design, editorial criteria for selecting new personnel and overall situation in Ukrainian journalistic arena. The public did not confine to these questions, though. They were even curious of the fact, what profit did the guest gain when meeting with students and why did he spend his time with them? In his turn Vadym Denysenko highlighted that in the first place he finds it interesting to communicate with the newly qualified journalists an secondly, the meetings allow to develop professionally.
In the guest’s view the key criteria for professional journalist include intellect, ability to combine incongruous in the material, find a new, totally unexpected viewpoint even within the widely known subject and the desire to develop in professional domain. At the end of the session the guest awarded Victor Kishchak, M.A. for his active involvement in the discussion and his sharp questions. The Master received ‘Comments’ Weekly subscription. Second-runner was to be selected by Victor Kostiuk, vice dean for studies and and Natalia Tiapkina, associate professor at the Department of Publishing and Editing. As they were finding it hard to choose between Andriy Bezruk and Yanina Berzey, the educators suggested to students to vote for the best question asked althoughVadym Denysenko awarded both of the students with the 'Comments' subscription.
Finally, the guest has added: “It was long since I had been to the lecture hall with so many good questions being asked. Believe me, I am honest with you. Besides, I am really thankful for communication”
