Results of round 1 of Ukrainian National Student Contest in Foreign Languages among non-linguistic students held by the Department of foreign languages for specific purposes were summed up
Forty six students participated in the final stage. They were specializing in English, German and French representing the Faculties of Journalism, Social Sciences and Administration, Social Pedagogics and Psychology, Law, Economics, Mathematics, Physics and History.
The contestants were given out test assignments elaborated using materials for International examination in English (IELTS - International English Language Testing System), which must be taken by the students willing to study in the universities abroad and conform to the current proficiency standards in English, German and French as a foreign language.
The winner in the field of English is
5th year graduate of the Biology Faculty Victor Poliakov scoring 125 out of 137 points /academic supervisor: Tetiana Tretiakova, Ph.D. in Education, associate professor;

1st year student of the Law Faculty Olga Yukhymenko scoring 90 of 100 points/academic supervisor: lecturer Olena Kostenko

2nd year student of the Faculty of Journalism Kateryna Darna scoring 48 out of 50 points/academic supervisor: Yevgenia Moskalenko, Ph.D. in Education, associate professor
