Project manager of Casting Office, Inter TV Channel, Lidia Voloduyeva paid visit to the Faculty of Journalism, ZNU where she talked on the screenplay contest conditions and employment prospects for young journalists at Media Holding.
According to Mrs. Voloduyeva, currently national TV Broadcasting Channels are lacking gifted and creative journalists, so the Inter management has come up with the idea to cooperate with the top-rank Ukrainian universities preparing Journalists, among them Zaporizhzhya National University, and provide detailed information on ‘TV-pen’ screenplay contest.
The contest has three nominations: documentary film, new-format TV programme and feature film screenplays. The guest was also speaking of Casting Office project, created to search new faces for the Holding channels, Interschool admission requirements and study prospects, criteria for “Inter” news presenters to comply with, and internship specifics at TV channels. The meeting participants have also raised the issue of valuing professionals able to create new-format programmes.
In the end vice dean for studies Victor Kostiuk expressed his hope that ZNU students would avail of the opportunity to showcase their creativity and talent. In her turn Mrs. Voloduyeva promised students to organise shortly on-line conference with the renowned Inter journalists.
