Trial Tests going on at ZNU

It is the fourth running year that trial tests are being held at Zaporizhzhya National University. This time free-of-charge trainings allowing prospective students to test their level of knowledge and be aware of organisational and methodological specifics of External Independent Evaluation started on March, 4 in Biology and Chemistry. On March, 10 registration was opened to pass tests in Mathematics and Physics.

It should be highlighted that a large number of prospective students are eager to pass trial tests this year which is proved by the figures: over 500 school students participated in Biology test, 300 in Chemistry, 700 in Mathematics and about 250 in Physics. By the way, the last figures set up a record testifying to increased interest in exact sciences.
According to Preparatory Department head Iryna Bakalenko, faculty staff of our university has demonstrated efficiency and professionalism during the trainings due to their expertise and skills. In particular, professors of Biology Faculty have managed to review a large scope of test assignments on a tight timetable and upload the results in Biology and Chemistry to ZNU website on March, 7. Currently, test assignments in Physics and Mathematics are under review.
The next test in Ukrainian language and literature is scheduled for March, 18 with over 1500 participants already registered followed by tests in foreign languages on the same date. Judging from the applications submitted for registration, the most popular test is in English (600 attendees). Also, History is gaining popularity with almost 900 prospective students signed up for the trial test.
