May, 10 an official session of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students Scientific Society (UPSSS) on Science Day was held at the Faculty of Law. The event was dedicated to summarizing activity achievements by Scientific Society throughout the academic year.
UPSSS activists were recalling the crucial events organized in 2011/2012 academic year, including workshops by director of “Spriyannia” Public Utility Company Daria Kikeyeva and employee of Department of Culture and Arts under Municipal Council Liudmyla Vysotska. Also, young scientists mentioned round-table meeting on land market, to which apart of large number of speakers, undergraduate and graduate students, was invited deputy chief of Law Department under the Agency for Land Resources Nina Brinash.
Within the last academic year quite a large amount of events were held jointly by the Faculty of Law and Coordinating Council of Junior Lawyers under Central Administration of Justice in Zaporizhzhya region and Students’ League of Ukrainian Bar Association. There are arrangements on further productive cooperation with non-governmental organizations, mentioned above.
Among its greatest attainments UPSSS team considers legal education of local youth: throughout the academic year students of law gave about 50 lectures across secondary and technical schools. The meeting participants express their special thanks to the faculty and University administration for supporting their scientific initiatives.
