Roundtable at the Faculty of Economics - a Step to Combine Science and Business

September 28, the first International Roundtable "Integration of education, science and business" held at ZNU Faculty of Economics. The practical part of the session began after the inauguration.

- Today we have prepared an innovative project to create a cluster of milk processing plants, - tells the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Professor Alla Cherep, - and energy saving projects in engineering plants. We are ready to initiate and implement these projects in order to improve the situation with providing milk the residents of Zaporizhzhia region, as well as receiving a positive effect on energy saving at the factories. ZNU Scientists have suggestions for improvement of active cluster of associations: "Buy Zaporizhzhyan Products - Choose Native Food!", "A Bee Knows no Boundaries". Today, integrating science and business is the pressing problem - Ukraine's economy needs new improvements regarding foreign capital attraction. This will happen only if our business entities will be attractive to investors, and the science can directly affect this.
The Doctor of the University of Silesia (Poland) Claudio Salmeri and Magister of this university Martina Markovska, director of the Ukrainian-Spanish Company "Harvest", member of the initiative group project "Buy Zaporizhzhyan Products - Choose Native Food!" Oleksiy Puchkov, Academic of the Academy of Sciences for Higher Education of Ukraine Volodymir Stetsuk and others. The seminar reports were made by the Academic of the Academy of Sciences for Higher Education of Ukraine Volodymir Litvin («Reformation of the Agricultural Complex of Ukraine»), the Head of the Union of Economists in Ukraine Oleksandr Kenduyhov («Key Issues and Strategic Priorities of the Integration of Science and Education»), President of the Association «Dnipropetrovsk Bank Union» Volodymir Kosyuga («Formation of the Innovative Economic Model of Ukraine Using Bank Instruments»), Head of the research laboratory of the Kharkiv Institute of Banking of the University of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriy Dubnitskiy («The Experience of cooperation between the Kharkiv Institute of Banking of the University of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine and SSPE "Kommunar" in the Development of the Specialized Software Products for Economic Analysis» in collaboration with the docent of the Department of Information Technology Anatoliy Kobilin), Director of Economics and Finance PJSC "Diesel Locomotive Plant" Dmytro Svitliy («Crisis of Education in Ukraine»), Project Manager of the U.S. Peace Corps in Ukraine Marat Kryuchevskiy («Social Partnership as a Tool for the Integration of Education, Science and Business»), other ZNU scientists and guests.
Professor Oleksandr Kendyuhovpaid attention to the fact that the intellectual potential of the young generation is underestimated today. An interesting report was presented bythe Vice-Head of ZNU Department of International Economics and Economic Theories Dmytro Babminda -«Diversification of the Innovative Development of Agro-Industrial Complex Under Conditions of the Global Challenges», which substantiates the urgent need of reforming the agriculture and land registry creation.
The Associate Dean of the V.I. Vernadsky Taurida National University Memet Abibulaev also visited ZNU. He told about the role of business in improving the quality of student vocational training and interested in a positive experience of out Faculty of Economic in preparing the specialists and work with graduates and employers.
The speakers emphasizes that the integration of education, science and business is possible only when all the participants of this process will be socially responsible.
The Faculty of Economics plans to continue such meetings with participation of foreign colleagues next year.
