Today another seminar for biology and chemistry teachers from Zaporizhzhyan region was held at ZNU Faculty of Biology. Senior lecturer from the Department of Didactics and Methods of Teaching Natural and Mathematical Courses (Regional Institute for Postgraduate Pedagogic Education) S. Dekhtiarenko highlighted the issues of the didactic learning process on natural sciences and the importance of interaction between teachers and scholars aimed at achieving mutual goal – shaping school students’ personality ready for all challenges of modern society.
ZNU Vice-Dean of Professional Orientation Work held briefing on the current state and prospects of Biological faculty development. There was a tour around the faculty and its laboratories held for participants. Particular attention was paid to the proper organization of work with precursors. It requires specific storage and use conditions.
Department of General and Applied Ecology and Zoology Assoc. Prof., Ph.D. in Biology O. Korzh highlighted general concepts of modern state of the environment as a science and outlined crucial scenarios of further interaction between humanity and nature. Department of Chemistry Assoc. Prof. Zavgorodniy M. told about preparing for chemistry IET.
The workshop was finished by touring Museum of Zoology located at the Faculty premises.
