Prospective Students at ZNU Faculty of Foreign Philology

October 21, ZNU Faculty of Foreign Philology together with the other faculties met the guests – high school students who intend to enter the Zaporizhzhya National University. The representatives of FFP have been attending city schools in order to meet with prospective students, present them our university and this faculty since the beginning of the year. The mobile professional orientation group of lecturers and students made ​​a visit to schools of Mikhailovsky District.

The faculty has formed an electronic database of high school students who are interested in foreign languages. The invitations were sent to them. Also, there were the announcements of the Day of Entrant at ZNU posted in schools, which collaborating with the faculty.
Student Council of the faculty never stays away during such events. This time they have prepared the exhibition of the best art works created by our students. Prospective students and their parents got acquainted with embroidery of the graduate student Lusine Egozarova (specialty: “English Language and Literature”), student of the 1-st course Diana Pisareva (specialty: "Translation (English)"), student of the 2-nd course Oksana Nagorna (specialty: "Language and Literature (French)"), with drawings of the 1-st course students Anastasia Pozdnyakova and Anastasia Denisenko ("German Language and Literature").
Departmental celebration was attended by 50 guests. Prospective students and their parents were informed about the peculiarities of studying at the faculty, talked to its dean, Associate Professor Galina Moroshkina, heads of the departments, lecturers and students.
In the end of the event high school students were invited to take a test in English, German and French linguistics and get advices from the experienced lecturers.
Entrants - Olga Shadrina (Zaporizhzhya gymnasium "Contact"), Julia Kondratenko (Zaporizhzhya gymnasium № 6), Evgen Maklyuk (Zaporizhzhya gymnasium № 11), Dmytro Enikeev (Zaporizhzhya gymnasium №71 with the intensified study of foreign languages), Natalia Kovalenko (Zaporizhzhya secondary school № 12) - expressed their gratitude for the hospitality and useful information.
