Annual Report Meeting at ZNU Faculty of Journalism

Yesterday, the annual report meeting held at ZNU Faculty of Journalism, which was attended by heads of the faculty, lecturers and students.

Last year's progress report was made by the Dean, Professor Volodymir Manakin and Associate Dean for Educational Work, Docent Victor Kostuyk . The awarding ceremony of the first All-Ukrainian Media-Festival organizers' and winners of the Photo Contest, discussion of the faculty's structures, SSS, Student Council and Press-Center took place during the meeting.
The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Volodymir Manakin. He welcomed participants and noted:
- Each of you can be special. The student-initiated All-Ukrainian Media-Festival, which was held at ZNU for the first time, has proved it. Diplomas were awarded to: the project proponent Olga Lebedeva, head of the Student Council Anton Osadchuk, Volodymir Sharapov and Daria Andreeva. Other students received gratitude from the dean.
During the event the winners of the Photo-Contest have been announced: Valeria Mashiro – І place, Julia Danilchenko – ІІ place Mihailo Tupikov – ІІІ place.
In turn, the Associate Dean for Educational WorkVictor Kostuyk reported on the results of the educational work at the faculty.
During the meeting the discussion of the upcoming events for the academic year took place: the International Advertising Festival; collaboration with the Telechannel "Zaporizhzhya" in order to create students' own programs.
Olga Lebedeva, Director of the faculty's Press-Center told the students about the publication of a new book of Prof. Volodymir Manakin – "Language and Intercultural Communication". This handbook can be useful not only for students, but also for professionals of the media work.
In conclusion, the representatives of Students Scientific Society, Student Council and Press-Center of the Faculty discussed the future work.
