Today the regional stage of Petro Jacyk International Ukrainian Language Competition took place at ZNU Faculty of Philology, where the students from universities of Zaporizhzhya region participated.
The contest was organized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Department of Education and Science of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, Zaporizhzhya Regional Academy of Postgraduate Education and ZNU Faculty of Philology.
The event was opened by ZNU Vice Rector, Docent Oleksandr Bondar. He welcomed the organizers of this stage, honorable judges, participants and wished them success and victories. He also stressed that this event not only encourages young people to get interested in learning the Ukrainian language, but also increases its credibility.
