January 9, the regional scientific-methodical seminar "Preparing Students for the Participation in the Creative Competitions of Physical and Technical Direction" was held at ZNU Faculty of Physics. The participants of the event – school teachers of our region and city – was told about the study process at the Faculty of Physics, particular qualities of this year admissions process and the conditions of the successful preparation for the participation in the creative competitions.
At the beginning of the workshop the Vice-rector for Educational Work, Professor Victor Grishak noted that such meetings had become traditional for ZNU Faculty of Physical. Also Victor Zakharovich told that our Faculty had come to the qualitatively new level of teaching physics and engineering disciplines and today's Ukrainian youth often focused on engineering sciences.
The head of ZNU Preparatory Department, Docent Irina Bakalenko thanked teachers for their work in preparing future students and reminded that the registration for the external assessment would begin on January 4.
Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Docent Anatoliy Dobrun, welcoming the audience, said he was pleased to see among those present at the seminar teachers - graduates of his faculty. Anatoliy Pavlovich described in detail the directions of training and specialization in the Faculty, accompanying his presentation with the slideshow. He also showed the audience photos of University du Maine (France) made by the magisters of the Faculty Olena Chaban and Evgenia Cherkas. Students are participating in the "double diploma" program due the cooperation of our university with French colleagues.
The assistant of ZNU Department of Physics and Teaching Methods Irina Keneva told about her impressions of the participation in the scientific school for leaders of the students-members of MAN Ukraine research works.
At the end of the event all present were received the certificates of the participation in the workshop, and the surveys conducted among the teachers allowed the representatives of the Physical Faculty to resume the database, which they use in order to interact with the schools of the city and region.
