In Zaporizhzhya National University held a press conference with the winners of the second UEFA traditional wushu

Today at Zaporizhzhya National University held a press conference with athletes Zaporozhye Wushu Federation, members of the National Team, winners of the second UEFA traditional Wushu and their coaches.

Recall that from 8 to 15 April in Bucharest (Romania) took second European championship in traditional Wushu. As part of the national team were also Zaporozhye athletes, including - Students Zaporizhzhya National University: Miroslava Mala (Faculty of Economics), Tatiana Kondratieff (Economics and Law College Students, in "Physical Education") and Anna Derbenova (Faculty of Physical Education). Athletes of the city won 5 gold, 9 silver and 2 bronze medals. In total, Ukrainian athletes brought 53 awards, finishing third team place. Participating in the press conference was rector of Students Nikolai Frolov , acting assistant rector of Public Relations and Media Galina mukutiv, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education Nikolai Malikov, master of sports of Ukraine , event coordinator Denis Sidorenko , coach Zaporizhzhya City Federation of Wushu , the head of delegation at the Zaporizhia II European Championships traditional Wushu Natalie Hramova , honored coach Ukraine , Zaporozhye regional president of the Federation of Wushu Evgen Shulga and their pets - master of Sports of Ukraine Miroslava Mala and Tatiana Kondratyev, master of sports of international class Maksym Danchenko. 
In the event of Zaporizhzhya National University Rector Nikolai Frolov welcomed the participants of the championship with an outstanding victory and expressed hope for further development and prospects of the sport:
- We have always supported Zaporizhzhya Regional Wushu Federation and our athletes. Zaporizhzhya National University traditionally pays great attention to the development of various sports. On the basis of Zaporizhzhya National University held sports competitions, seminars, student-athletes the opportunity to study individual schedules. Management of the Faculty of Physical Education, including Dean Nikolai Malikov makes great efforts in this area of work. Students, for their part, show good results both in sport and in education.
By opening words joined Dean Mukola Malikov. He stressed that the current head of Zaporizhzhya Regional Wushu Federation Yevgeny Shulga, who is a graduate of Zaporizhzhya National University, one of the first in Zaporizhzhya contributed to popularize the sport. In a short time led by the Regional Federation of Wushu shows so good results. Nikolai Vasuljovichalso spoke about the prospects of international cooperation Zaporizhzhya National University, including the Faculty of Physical Education. Coach Natalie Khramova noted that our athletes fully justified expectations and demonstrated that at least in Europe Ukrainian athletes involved in Wushu are the best. According to her, during the championship most bitter struggle for prizes unfolded between the national teams of Ukraine and Russia. Ukrainian literally "snatched" victory to his rivals on the last day of competition in the "duylyan" (theatrical fights). In addition Miroslava Mala and Tatiana Kondratieva became European champion in individual programs. They both won by 2 gold and 1 silver medals, Anna Derbenova has 1 gold and 2 silver. On account of another team leader - Maxim Danchenko - just three silver medals in different individual disciplines.
President of Zaporizhzhya Regional Wushu Federation Yevgeny Shulga said that soon will arrive in Zaporozhye experts invited from Shanghai, for seminars and training our athletes to participate in the next championship. In addition, in recent decades the popularity of martial arts has become uncommon in all continents. That’s why currently under consideration adding martial arts to the official Olympic sports. All members of the press conference expressed the unanimous opinion that the development of this sport is Wushu, now in Ukraine takes agility, and Ukrainian athletes are competitive even on a global scale. But to achieve significant results athlete and trainer Maxim Danchenko advises start playing this sport even from childhood. Miroslava Mala and Tatiana Kondratieva came into the sport at age 7. Typically athletes involved in Wushu participate in sparring and in demonstrations of sporting weapon - a sword, a spear like. Wushu is a complex sport areas where harmonious development of body coordination, character, discipline athletes. Therefore, athletes are advised to master this sport for everyone.
Zaporizhzhya athletes are beginning a new phase of preparation for the championship of Ukraine, which is scheduled for mid-May. He will be the selection stage before the World Wushu Championship to be held in Malaysia.
