From 13 till 15th of May, the XI National Universiade in Rowing was held in the Rowing canal (Dnepropetrovsk).
162 participants from 15 regions of Ukraine took part in this competition.
As always, ZNU Faculty of Physical Eduction students were one of the best. They won 2 gold and bronze medals.
Among men, the first place took the student of the 5th course, Master of Sport Alexander Nadtoka. 
Student of the 5th course Vitaly Ushkanov took the third place.
Among women, the gold medal was earned by Larisa Jalinska.

During May 16-19, the ХІ Ukrainian Universiade in Athletics took place in Yalta.
460 participants from 26 regions of Ukraine came to take part in the competition.
Zaporizhzhya team was, mostly, represented by ZNU students and postgraduates.
Among the participants of the ZNU team - Bronze medalists of the Olympic Games 2012 in London, Honored Masters of Sports, postgraduates student of ZNU Faculty of Physical Education Olesya Povh and Maria Remen.
Olesya Povh had no competitors at a distance of 100 meters, she finished first with the score of 11.36 seconds.
The women's team, which consisted of Olesya Povh, Maria Remen, students of the 3rd course of ZNU Faculty of Physical Education Irina Kravchenko and Tatyana Davidenko, finished second and won the silver medals in the 4x100 m relay.
The men's team, which consisted of the 1st course students of ZNU Faculty of Physical Education Roman Kravtsov, Dmitry Oleksenko, Oleg Nechay and the faculty's graduate Sergiy Kostenko climbed the bronze pedestal of honor in the 4x100 m relay.
Maria Fenko, 1st year student, won the bronze medal in the high jump with a takeoff.
