The report of Valentyna Kravchenko “The Lukashevich in the works of Taras Shevchenko” aroused the great interest of the audience, because it has been quite a bit developed. It’s crucial that on the eve of the 200th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko many speakers have devoted their scientific research just the figure of the great poet. In her speech, Lesya Korol spoke about the model of the historical novel “No right for return” and the novel-essay “Mannerheim Line” of V. Chemerys.
The participants of the International Seminar agreed that the Ukrainian people had a significant impact on the cultural life of St. Petersburg, and therefore the issue chosen for discussion certainly has prospects for further development.
