July 11-15 at the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology occurred first session of creative contests for students entering the specialty "Dramatic Arts". The second session of creative contests passed 16 people.
According to Head of examination committee of the Department of Dramatic Arts, honored artist of Ukraine Gennadiy Fortus, this year the number of applicants in the 1st round was 3 persons for one vacancy. The main objective of the first qualifying stage was to determine the general intellectual level of the candidates and their actors abilities. Entrants have demonstrated their ability to recite poems, stories, prose, monologues, etc.
By the end of July will be two stages of creative contests. Entrants must demonstrate their vocal and dancing abilities, and finally - to present theatrical studies.
According to Gennadiy Fortus among entrants this year, many talented and interesting personalities. But there was a lot of mediocre applicants. Unfortunately, today's youth is influenced by the so-called mass art and bad acquainted with Ukrainian and Russian classics.
