From 10 to 18 August in Moscow (Russian Federation) held a World Championship in Athletics. Athletics Federation Ukraine was determined with the composition of the national team that will represent our country. Among its members and athletes of ZNU Mariya Remen and Olesya Povh.
Mariya Remen take part in running on 200 meters, Olesya Povh – on 100 meters. Also athletes will compete in the 4x100 relay.
In addition, Zaporizhzhya in the championship representing another 4 athletes. Oleksiy Kasyanov – decathlon, Anna Melnichenko – heptathlon, Anna Gatsko will perform in sector of javelin throwing, and Volodymyr Burakov – member of men's team that will compete in the 4x100 relay.
Together with athletes will go to Moscow also their coaches - Dmytro Lepa, Kostyantyn Rurak and Sergiy Shurhal.
In general, the national team of Ukraine includes 28 men and 33 women.
