At the Olympic camp in Koncha Zaspa (Kyiv region) most athletes of Ukraine last month received diplomas, statuettes and cash prizes from the National Olympic Committee. Zaporizhzhya National University student, athlete, Olesya Povh awarded the title of "best athlete in June" by winning at distances 100 meters and 4x100 meters relay team championship of Europe.
The current season of Olesya Povh saturated by many successful international starts. After these victories on continental championship student of ZNU with friends on team went to the student Universiade in Kazan (Russia), which together with Natalia Pogrebnyak, Mariya Remen and Victoria Pyatachenko again won the 4x100 meter relay, ahead of a strong teams of USA, РPoland and Canada. But after a few days Olesya Povh have a new challenge - the main start of the season 2013 - World Track Championships in in Athletics, which will be held at the Moscow stadium "Luzhniki" (Russian Federation). Now, Honored Master of Sports Povh Olesya wants to add to Olympic "bronze" of London 2012, to "gold" of Universiade 2013 and to continental championships-2010-2013 also the first class medal of the World Championship.
About herself Olesya talks briefly: «The parents were athletes-sprinters. I at first studied music, and in ten years signed to the athletics section. These loads launched in 17-18 years. But I had no time to stop and leave athletics. Today, sport is my life. I still do not know how else to live».
