In ZNU opened a memorial plaque to commemorate Vyacheslav Tolok

August 31 in ZNU was opening ceremony of memorial plaque of former Rector of the university (1984-2003 years), Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Science of Ukraine, Head of Zaporizhzhya Regional Branch of the Academy of Higher Education of Ukraine Vyacheslav Tolok, who passed away May 29, 2013.

The solemn ceremony visited Minister of Culture of Ukraine Leonid Novohatko, first deputy chairman of Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration Victor Emelianenko, the head of the City Council of Zaporizhzhya Oleksandr Sin, Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov, wife, children and grandchildren of Vyacheslav Oleksandrovych, as well as representatives of the University administration, teaching staff and students.
Hosts of the event was students of ZNU Kateryna Danshina and Mykola Kopylovskiy.
Addressing to audience, the head the City Council Oleksandr Sin noted that in 19 years of university leadership Vyacheslav Alexandrovich transformed Pedagogical Institute to the real classic university, which today trains highly qualified specialists.
Rector of ZNU Mykola Frolov noted that this memorial plaque - a tribute to the former rector, who daily remind to current and future students about outstanding scholar, an experienced leader, a good and sensitive man who was Vyacheslav Tolok.
Also, to the audience addressed the son of Vyacheslav Alexandrovich Oleksiy and granddaughter Svitlana. They thanked to organizers and participants for honor, respect and recognition of scientific achievements of the scientist.
The right to open memorial plaque given to family of former Rector and honorary guests. Commemorates Vyacheslav Tolok a minute of silence.
After the event all the guests were able to put flowers near the memorial plaque.
