On the basis of the Faculty of Economics ZNU held a roundtable on "Agrotourism". The event was organized as part of students scientific problem of the Department of Finance and Credit (supervisor - professor Alla Cherep) and Scientific Society of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The roundtable meeting was attended by staff and students of the Faculty of Economics and honored guests. Dean of the faculty of Economics, professor Alla Cherep congratulated participants, outlined the problems of meeting and spoke about the prospects of agrotourism in Ukraine. In the work of meeting took an active part guest of the Faculty of Economics – General Director of the State organization "Regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund in Zaporizhzhya region" Volodymyr Stepanenko. He told about events held by state agencies in Ukraine, but stressed the need to stimulate these processes by economists and organizations concerned with agricultural business development. Volodymyr Vasylovych said that to the development projects and plans for eco-tourism industry will be involved not only professionals but also students.
An example of effective participation of youth in the formation of agricultural business development vectors were scientific research and the papers presented at the roundtable. Approving estimation of experienced professionals received research and recommendations of students Maya Onyshchenko ("Agrotourism as one of the promising directions for solving socio-economic and environmental problems in rural areas"), Oleksandra Mogylna ("Prospects for agrotourism in Ukraine"), Daryna Vlasova ("The experience of eco-tourism in the regions of Ukraine") and others. Speeches provoked a number of questions and additions. During the discussion of the topic has been covered a number of issues, and emphasized that green tourism development in Ukraine is in the bud, so its development should be encouraged. Also Volodymyr Stepanenko said about the Grant, who recently received their organization from the EU amounting to 67.5 thousand euro for the project "System of quality certification in agrotourism business". The participants of the EU Project "Black Sea basin Programme 2007-2013" is a five countries - Greece, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia, Bulgaria. Including Ukraine, Zaporizhzhya region in particular, the development of eco-tourism will help to get more revenue streams, attract businesses to this area of rural areas for the development of rural infrastructure and increase employment of its residents in general.
On materials of round table meeting will be published monograph, which will include the work of teachers and students of the Faculty of Economics of ZNU.
