23 and 24 October the Head of the Preparatory Department of ZNU Iryna Bakalenko according to the action plan for the organization of career guidance in ZNU visited Kamyansko-Dnieper and Pology areas. This is made possible by the long-term cooperation, good relations between the heads of departments of Education Kamyansko-Dnieper and Pology city councils Sergiy Tanko, Tetyana Yakovenko and our university.
Iryna Bakalenko met with high school students of educational institutions Kamyansko-Dnieper area (gymnasium "Sofia", Comprehensive School № 3, SPC "Kindergarten-school", Velykoznamyanska school, Vodyanska school № 1, Vodyanska school № 2, Comprehensive School Novovodyanska) and Pology area (Collegium № 1, Comprehensive School № 2, Gymnasium "Osnova", Comprehensive School № 4, Pology NVK, Verbivska school, Grigoryevskaya school, Chapayevsk NVK, KU Kinskorozdorivskyy NVK).
During the meeting, Head of the preparatory department Iryna Bakalenko provided general information about the university, emphasized the prestige of a diploma exactly of our university. In detail she stopped on the needs of future entrants qualitatively prepared for external independent evaluation and opportunities of the University to help today's high school students learn the material of curriculum better and subsequently to become a student of ZNU. To do this, they could study at preparatory courses, which last until May and provide a solid foundation and psychologically adaptation of children to study at university. Also high school students reported of carrying out in March a free trial training courses in ZNU from all subjects of external independent evaluation.
High school students had the opportunity to ask questions and get satisfactory answers to them. Pupils interested in the areas of training, availability of hostels, job prospects, etc.
The results of this form of career guidance obvious - a significant increase in number of students part-time learning training courses, which started its work on October 27 this year. But as practice shows - most of the trainees exactly becoming students of our university.
