November 5th in Zaporizhzhya National University began a traditional contest of amateur performances "Let's introduce myself, 1st year". Event was organized by the Center of cultural and mass work of ZNU.
The hosts of the first day of contest were students of the Faculty of Physical Education Katerina Chernysh and Vitaly Gontar. 
They welcomed all those present at the event and said that this year the festival is held under the slogan "Flight of fancy" so the students of ZNU have the opportunity to demonstrate their talents and creativity.
The composition of judicial board included: jury chairman – director of Center of cultural and mass work Julia Yanko, jury members – specialists of the Center of cultural and mass work - Artistic Director Andriy Bondarenko, head of the studio Club of the witty and creative Oleksiy Savitskiy, head of the vocal studio "Kantylena" Natalia Pyrig and head of choreographic studio «D.A.L.S.» Irina Vasilenko. 
They will evaluate the performances of freshmen and at the end of the contest will choose the winners. On the first day of competition demonstrated their talents freshmen of the Faculty of Mathematics and Faculties of Management and Social Pedagogics and Psychology. The students impressed the audience with amazing vocal performances and dance performances.
A special impression on those present made vocal performances of student of the Faculty of Management 
Anastasia Stolbina, student of the Faculty of Social Pedagogics and Psychology Dmytro Eremenko, and also Faculty of Mathematics students Lolita Ehbereku and Vyacheslav Kamenschikov.
It is worth noting that this year Mathematics students particularly impressed the audience and the jury with their talents and Vyacheslav Kamenschikov viewers even called for an encore to once again enjoy his performance. According to the head of the studio Club of the witty and creative of the Center of cultural and mass work Oleksiy Savitskiy, it was the best performance of freshman of Faculty of Mathematics over the past decade.
Today, November 6, demonstrate their talents students of the Faculties of History, Biology and Law. The final gala concert, during which will be presented the brightest of this year's contestants performances will be held November 14.
