During this week in Zaporizhzhya National University held a series of events organized by the Student Council of our university, to support long-term campaign "Against drugs!". Among other things, November 28, activists of the Student Council supported by the Center of cultural and mass work in the hall of 2nd academic building of ZNU showed Oscar-winning film directed by Danny Boyle's "Trainspotting."
This film has been a cult classic and is considered to be a model of social cinema, which prevents this tragic phenomenon as addiction. "Trainspotting" - a film adaptation of the famous novel of contemporary British writer Irvine Welsh, whose prose, according to Scottish law enforcement, has done more to counteract drug abuse than the police raid. That's why representatives of the Student Council of ZNU chose this famous film.
This initiative is very pleased to student audience, as representatives of the student council plans to turn into a tradition of viewing interesting and controversial films in Zaporizhzhya National University.
