December 12 on the basis of Zaporizhzhya National University held 4th regional stage of All-Ukrainian scientific and research works of Taras Shevchenko, participation in which included representatives as Zaporizhzhya city as well as the entire region.
At the beginning of the event welcomed the guests and wished them inspiration and love to native word and creative victories First Vice-Rector of ZNU Olexander Bondar, Vice-Rector for 
scientific and methodological work of Zaporizhzhya Regional Institute of Postgraduate Education Valentyna Yastrebova and Dean of the Faculty of Philology Tamara Khomiak.
The jury members of the contest included: Dean of the Faculty of Philology Tamara Khomiak (jury chairman), associate professor of Ukrainian Literature Department of the Faculty of Philology of ZNU Nataliya Hurbach, lecturer of Ukrainian Studies Department of Taurian State Agro-technical University (Melitopol) Lyudmyla Shlyeina and Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor of Berdyansk State Pedagogical Institute Olga Sharina.
An envelope with the tasks of the contest was opened immediately before starting work in front of witnesses, as required by conditions of the contest. Participants had 4 hours to complete tasks.
On the results of the work, winners of the contest were:
"Humanitarian Profile": 1st place – Nataliya Smordova (2nd year student of the Faculty of Philology of Zaporizhzhya National University) 2nd place – Victoria Nazarenko (6th year student of the Faculty of Philology of Berdyansk State Pedagogical Institute); 
3rd place – Anita Hrytsanenko (1st year student of specialty "Business Economics" of Taurian State Agrotechnical University).
"Technical profile": 1st place - Oksana Zaytseva (1st year student of specialty "Ecology and Environment Protection" of Taurian State Agrotechnical University) 2nd place - Anastasiya Mykytenko, 3 place - Yana Laguna (2nd year student of the Faculty of Philology of the Institute of Psycho-Pedagogical Education and Arts, Berdyansk).
