Ukrainian poet, literary critic, and social and political activist Dmytro Pavlychko together with the publishing house of Solomiya Pavlychko "Osnovy" (Kyiv) presented to the Scientific Library of Zaporizhzhya National University 10 volume edition of "Ukraine. Anthology of monuments state building of X-XX centuries".
The book was published with the assistance of the charitable organization "Institute of Strategic assessments" at the Presidential Fund of Leonid Kuchma "Ukraine". They contain materials and documents that cover various historical events of X-XX centuries, and literary masterpieces of those periods writers. The idea to create these books was just belong to Dmytro Pavlychko.
Presented publications will be useful to students of ZNU in writing term papers and diplomas.
During the 2013 academic year fund of Scientific Library of ZNU replenished with 20 thousand publications, received as a gift from higher educational institutions publishing houses and more. In turn, our library has sent nearly 150 publications to seventeen universities of Ukraine as a gift to the St. Nicholas Day. These partnerships with various universities and publishers have already become a good tradition for our university.
It should be be noted that currently at the 137 room of 2nd academic building of ZNU continuing an exhibition of the Scientific Library on "The traditions of the Ukrainian nation", dedicated to New Year and Christmas holidays.
