Students of the Faculty of Economics of ZNU examined the features of managing conflicts in modern organizations

December 19 at the Economics Faculty of Zaporizhzhya National University within the framework of Students' Scientific Problem Groups of HR Management and Marketing Department held a roundtable discussion on "Features of managing conflicts in modern organizations".

Activity of national and foreign organizations demonstrates the need for knowledge and skills in conflict resolution, management, diagnostics, prevention and prediction of conflicts.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics, professor Alla Cherep emphasized the importance of mastering the skills of practical use of techniques and methods of diagnostics and of managing conflicts to increase the competitiveness of today's organizations. With the development of market conditions and the introduction of competitive relations, these issues are gaining in importance since the competition is a variant of conflict, which under certain conditions develops into conflict. In actual practice, the use of the principles and techniques of managing conflicts, is important to consider regularities and conditions of their solution, which will choose a more rational and appropriate methods of conflict situation and forms of the solution.
Also in the discussion of managing conflicts technologies in modern organizations participated Head of the Department of HR and Marketing, Ph.D., associate professor Valentyna Gelman, Ph.D., associate professor of HR and Marketing Department Nataliya Kushynova, senior lecturer of the Department of HR and Marketing Valeriy Tymoshyk, Ph.D. lecturer of HR and Marketing Department Viktoriya Yarmosh, responsible for the scientific work of the Department of HR and Marketing postgraduate student Nataliya Terentyeva.
The roundtable meeting was attended by students of 2nd-3rd years of the Faculty of Economics of specialty "Human Resource Management and Marketing" and "Accounting and Audit".
Students actively participated in a roundtable discussion on what demonstrated their interest.
2nd year student of the Faculty of Economics (specialty "Accounting and Audit") Dariya Samoylenko made a report on "The conflict: negative and positive aspects". She stressed that the positive and functionally useful result of the conflict is considered to solve that problem, which has generated controversy and caused a collision, taking into account mutual interests and objectives of all parties and to achieve understanding and trust, strengthen partnerships and cooperation, overcoming conformity, obedience , commitment to excellence.
3rd year student of the Faculty of Economics (specialty "HR Management and Labour Economics") Nataliya Khanayeva in the report "Signal and causes of conflict" described the classification of conflicts that may be open, sometimes hidden, conscious or vice versa. Motives of conflicts specified for the purposes, pursued by the participants.
Very interesting and relevant were reports of 2nd year student (specialty "Accounting and Audit") Margaryta Piun on "Phases and stages of the conflict"; 3rd year student Oleksandra Mogylna topic "The impact of individual-typological characteristics of personnel in behavioral strategies in conflict situations"; a student of 2nd year ("HR Management and Labour Economics") Nataliya Krokhmal on "Three aspects of limits conflict", 2nd year student of Economics ("HR Management and Labour Economics") Valeriya Safonova on "Types of personalities conflict", a student of 2nd year ("HR Management and Labour Economics") Kateryna Lunina on "The concept of interpersonal conflict", a student of 2nd year of "HR Management and Labour Economics" Oleksiy Oliynyk on "Description of the main strategies of behavior in conflict situations," student of 2nd year ("HR Management and Labour Economics") Anastasiya Volyk on "Managing conflicts in the example of the region enterprises".
Due to the round-table meeting a wide range of students and teachers of the Faculty of Economics received the knowledge of the content and nature of the conflict, its phases and stages of development, familiar with the characteristics of the main strategies of behavior in conflict situations.
