Scientific Library of ZNU replenished with editions of Ukrainian Research Institute of Harvard University
Scientific Library of Zaporizhzhya National University cooperates with various educational and scientific institutions. Thus, the recent replenishment of our university library was the publication of the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute, the charitable organization "Centre of Commercial Law" and leading universities in Ukraine.
Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute (HURI) is a leading academic and research institutions in the USA, which has been developing educational programs and research in field of Ukrainian studies and publishing. Department of publications in HURI has produced many books on history, linguistics, political science, art, literature, economics and so on. Also, the University publishes the scientific journal Harvard Ukrainian Studies, which publishes the leading scientists not only of North America but also all over the world.
University sent to our library fund several historical scientific studies: "Poltava 1709: The battle and the Myth", "Rural revolutions in Southern Ukraine (Peasants Nobles and Colonists 1774 - 1905)", "Hunger by Design: The Great Ukrainian Famine and its Soviet Context". Also, the Scientific Library received folio "Ukraine under Western Eyes: The Bohdan and Neonila Krawciw Ukraine Map Collection". The book is a cartographic edition and covers several areas - geography, history, political science, literature and art. Another gift from aforementioned HURI became a scientific journal Harvard Ukrainian Studies, 5 copies of which now has Scientific Library of ZNU.
Also Zaporizhzhya National University Scientific Library cooperates with Ukrainian educational institutions and organizations. Thus, from the charitable organization "Centre of Commercial Law", which operates under the project "Development of Commercial Law of Ukraine" funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), our library has received scientific journal "Ukrainian commercial law".
Also, funds of ZNU Scientific Library replenished with editions of literature from leading Ukrainian universities.
For professionals in the field of economics will be interesting publication "Trends in the tax burden in Ukraine in the context of the tax reform" of the State educational and scientific institution "Academy of Financial Law" "Tax system of Ukraine" dated DNNU "Academy of Financial Management" (Kyiv) or special edition for subscribers of All-Ukrainian professional accountancy newspaper "Tax Code of Ukraine".
For specialists philologists will be useful monograph presented by Lugansk T. G. Shevchenko National University, "Art specifics of Ukrainian prose for children and youth of the 2nd half of XXth century".
Practicing lawyers and students interested in the publication of the National University "Law Academy of Sciences of Ukraine named after Y. Mudry (Kharkiv)", "The question of combating crime" and academic collection of scientific papers "Problems of legality".
And for scientists of Zaporizhzhya National University will be useful publication "Integrating research and academic work in the university training of future teachers: theory and practice", presented by Lugansk Shevchenko's National University, and "International Scientific Journal" from Uzhgorod National University.

Scientific Library of ZNU also offers its users to read the books in electronic form on the library page library.znu.edu.ua in "Virtual Book Exhibition" and meet with new acquisitions under the same name - "New acquisitions".
