In Economics and Law Colleges decade of computer science and mathematics ended with intellectual game "What? Where? When?"

On February 25, Economics and Law College of Zaporizhzhya National University held a tournament of intellectual game "What? Where? When?" devoted to exact sciences. This event ended the decade in computer science and mathematics, which continued on the basis of the ELC from 17 February.

At the beginning of the contest teacher of Economics and Law College Nataliya Kalashnykova welcomed all participants - freshmen college of different specialties. «I am sure that there gathered those who really love math and science, and understands how important to today have exact sciences to the future development of society. So I wish you all great answers and victory», - she said. Also, Nataliya Yuriyivna presented the jury members: 3rd year students of specialty "Software Development" Oleksiy Solovyov and Maksym Piven, and a 2nd year student of this specialty Mariya Filina. The host of the event was sophomore Dmytro Kubatko.
For title of the best experts in science, seven teams competed: "Archimedes", "Unity", "Themis", "Inversion", "Marvel", "Intehralochky" and "Chamber № 33". While intellectual game, the participants had to demonstrate not only their knowledge, but also the reaction rate and the ability to solve logic problems.
The first round of the competition consisted of 24 questions related to mathematics and computer science, to solve each of them was given one minute. According to the results at the 1st place was freshmen team of specialty "Software Development" "Inversion", which scored 18 points.
But for the following number of points were just two teams, "Themis" (specialty "Jurisprudence") and "Intehralochky" (specialty "Production Organization"). Both teams scored 12 points, so the teacher Nataliya Kalashnykova put them one additional question on logic. As a result, 2nd place won team "Themis", and "Intehralochky", accordingly, took 3rd place. All the winners of "What? Where? When?" received certificates of honor of Economics and Law College.
