Students of the Faculty of History commemorates the heroes of Heavenly hundred

February 24th students the Faculty of History of Zaporizhzhya National University honored the memory of those killed in Kiev, Heavenly hundred of the Maidan (Independence Square).

In the 5th academic building activists of the Faculty of History Students' Council held an event to commemorate the fallen heroes of the Maidan, which began with a minute of silence. All interested persons had an opportunity to join the event and light up candles on eternal memory.
With the words of respect and sorrow turned to the audience Deputy Dean for education work Roman Moldavsky and Ph.D. in History, associate professor Vasyl Hvozdyk. Roman Leonidovych and Vasyl Stepanovych urged students not be indifferent and do not forget the exploits of heroes.
On behalf of the students' community with words of sorrow turned Head of Students' Council of the Faculty of History Viktor Burenkov. At the end all those present listened to a poem of Maryna Padalko, dedicated to the Heroes of Maidan and lit candles at a makeshift memorial with photos of Heavenly hundred heroes.
