Teachers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages discussed issues of interactivity and intermediation in the educational process
Teachers of Faculty of Foreign Languages held another meeting for the exchange of experiences on current approaches in the study of foreign languages. February 26 Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor of English Philology Department Dariya Lazarenko introduced colleagues to discuss the problem of interactivity and intermediation in the educational process.
Author of master class discussed with colleagues the role and place of interactivity and intermediation in modern methods of teaching of students philologists.
Dariya Lazarenko – specialist in literature, literary comparative studies, contemporary teacher who makes extensive use of the latest technology, teaches students to a modern approach of the analysis of classical literature and literature of today.
Interactivity of Dariya Mykolayivna's courses lies in the fact that the students themselves can suggest ways of working to make the study subjects modern, interesting and useful.
Proposing colleagues a methodology of working in the classroom for the course "Comparative Studies" by the master class gave examples of work forms (color text reading, story reading in 60 seconds work, mental characteristics of the hero, the interpretation of a classic piece with a modern twist or a different genre etc.).
The practical part of the meeting generated much discussion among teachers. Dean of the Faculty, Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor Halyna Moroshkina stressed the importance and uniqueness of such meetings at the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
