During November and December last year in pre-school, schools, after-school, vocational and higher educational institutions in the region continued Life Safety Month with the support of Main Department of State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhya region, the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of Zaporizhzhya Regional Administration and regional organization of the Red Cross. This time the participants were students of Zaporizhzhya National University and Trade College of ZNU.
As part of the Month by the Department of Labor and the Department of educational work with the participation of ZNU staff and Main Department of State Emergency Service of Ukraine Ukraine in Zaporizhzhya region and the State Automobile Inspection of Zaporizhzhya in late November for our university students were organized and conducted lectures on fire safety and traffic rules. Also, within the event the contest of creative works. The participants were mostly students of schools and educational institutions, and the first time it was attended by students of ZNU and Trade College. Altogether the contest is represented more than 800 works.
Students - contestants - submitted videos and presentations on life safety. It should be noted that active participation in the competition was students of Trade College of ZNU, which created a series of paintings and posters for promoting healthy lifestyles demotivators "No Drugs!", etc.
February 28 regional winners and participants of the event were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts. Diploma of the Main Department of State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhya region were noted students of the ZNU and Trade College for their active participation. This year they took the prize, as were the only participants from the students of the university city of Zaporizhzhya region. Next time, organizers hope will expand the list of contenders by students' youth. However, as assured Senior specialist of the Department of Media Relations and Public Relations of the Main Department of State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhya region Natalya Lorman, video and presentation materials created by the hands of our students will be required to conduct training and campaign work undertaken by employees of State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
