At the Law Faculty of ZNU was held a roundtable meeting dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Kobzar
Students and teachers of the Faculty have devoted regular roundtable, highlighting the role of Taras Shevchenko as a political and legal figure (lawyer) in the state-and national law-making process and his significant contribution to the national political and legal thought. Also during the discussion, the meeting settled on the main provisions of his fundamental works.
In their speeches, the speakers focused attention on the relevance of certain provisions of the poet's works and contemporary reform process, and in his active social position.
Of particular interest to the participants in discussing certain aspects of the works of Taras Shevchenko, who were used to further law-making entities, and for a long time is an integral part of modern national legislation. Participants discussed the political and legal views of Kobzar, his negative attitude to those days legislation and agreed that today is an important testament to follow the Great Poet, especially in the case of national unity, brotherhood of the people, the truth and the legal state formation.
